WOYWW! Chaos { = Creativity } in the studio this Wednesday!

I've got a couple of new art journal spreads going, a couple of tags I'm making, ATC's and getting things all together for a creative gathering with other artists tonight. - We meet on a regular basis once a month and it's called "Stammtisch" here in Germany. Wednesday!!!!

WOYWW... I'm so happy to be back! I just had so much going on last week. I didn't have any time at all for art nor my studio. But now I just can't wait to get back in the sadle again....

{ this is only a small excerpt... the chaos lies elsewhere! }
I'm gonna have to clean up today, but I sure know that that big art journal on my desk definitely needs a new spread!

Also had a wonderful workshop last night with seven excited & super curious gals.
{ I'm trying to spread the word about art journaling here in the area where I live in southern Germany }

What's on my work desk this Wednesday?!

I'm having a small workshop on art journaling soon and I'm getting things organized. The gals are total newbies to art journaling and so I'm preparing their treats today.

Small books to alter, ephemera, pencils, colored pens amongst other goodies (which aren't in the pic) are on my desk right now getting ready to be wrapped "MiSchra style" - which means I'm making my own tags out of paper scraps and using old fabric scraps as ribbons.

the flowers I had on my desk over the weekend tickled my inspirational soul.

Just letting my heart lead the way...

 actually started to bloom in my journal!

I wanted to create something with a WOW effect without much effort so I looked through my journals and found a page I had already started. This is what came out....

Making postcards out of scraps

WOYWW { What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday } 1

After a visiting a friend of mine, a passionate scrapbooker, I took some of her "leftovers" from her beloved scrapping sessions. Full of joy with all these wonderful and beautifully formed paper scraps, I knew just what to do with them.

 Using old postcards I had in my stash I went right to work in the studio...

 Gluing bits and pieces of paper and ephemera...

putting it all together, then a bit of stitching

I think I'm gonna do a bit of doodling to pep it up a bit

This one came out quite good too!
