Time for me

As you might already know my word for this year is "me".  I'm doing more of what I love this year. Creating, getting new creative impulses by meeting up with other creative souls and simply just taking care of myself. 

The Germans have a wonderful wording "die Seele baumeln lassen" which means something like "to let your soul just hang loose and dangle".  Well, that sure sounds good to me!

Another publication!!!

When I began painting on tea bags I never would have believed that people would actually like them. I thought I was just a bit weird.
And now this...

My first publication in ART journaling from Stampington publications!!

I feel so very honored and extremely blessed to be in this excellent magazine. Thank you so much Stampington & Company, for letting me embrace my weird. And thank YOU for letting me know that my weird is o.k. ♥ ♡ ♥

Happiness is....

Getting happy mail on a gloomy day!

I received this beautiful handmade postcard from Ulrike ( you can find her blog here )

 and I just can' tell you how happy it made me.

This past week I also saw "The Happiness Jar" by Elizabeth Gilbert (author of Eat, Pray, Love)

and so I decided to start saving my happy moments each day.
Beginning with my happy mail happy moment from Ulrike

At the end of the day I write down my happy moment(s) on a slip of paper

and put that slip of paper in a jar.

You might want to start a happiness jar too!
