Are you like me? Do you sometimes want to be bright and loud in your art, but other times just subtle and quite? It just all depends on your emotions and time of year I guess.
This weekend I made two portraits on canvas.
They were done simultaneously. Without looking at a "subject". Just letting your mind help you - and boy let me tell you it was a real challenge.

| This one is acrylic paint. No sketching. Using strange colors that you normally wouldn't use for skin tones and trying not to get any hair in her face. |

| And this is with bits of ephemera and just sketching with pencil. Finishing her with just a small hint of color. Subtle and quite. |
It was just so much fun. I should take on challenges more often!!
