Another publication!!!

When I began painting on tea bags I never would have believed that people would actually like them. I thought I was just a bit weird.
And now this...
My first publication in ART journaling from Stampington publications!!

I feel so very honored and extremely blessed to be in this excellent magazine. Thank you so much Stampington & Company, for letting me embrace my weird. And thank YOU for letting me know that my weird is o.k. ♥ ♡ ♥

Imperfection

What started out as this

ended up being this
With all of her imperfections

art and creativity are not about being perfect
it's about being wild and free in what you do
and above all
it's about being you

stay wild and free

Renderings....

The Call of the Wild Soul Art Retreat
What an outstanding experience
Whether it's Erin Faith Allen  for her passion { Girl you are on fire! }
and  for the organization of this retreat in the magical city of Prague

Katie Kendrick for taking such a "breathtaking dive into dimensions of consciousness" and showing me what I am capable of

Orly Avinieri who truly captured my soul with her heartwarming spirit and her one-of-a-kind alchemy of journal making, which is so very special

Michelle Hazell for such a magical creative experience -
guiding us with our spirit dolls/medicine bundles ( which I attached to my journal )

Polly Pring for taking such good care of all of us  - a biiiiigggg KISS here ! -
( this is the marble tabletop of my bedside table in Prague... can you see that heart?! )
and not to forget each and everyone of my fellow classmates

Just thinking of this wonderful experience puts tears to my eyes.
A big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for this expierence and your encouragement!
You all have a special place in my heart.

In my garden there is ... room for a free and wild spirit

Yes, and I'm trying to capture that beautiful feeling
of a free and wild spirit in my art journal today.

Stay safe my friends

Connecting up with { my tribe }

I'm getting these lovely ladies of mine wrapped up and ready to go to all different countries around the globe.

I made these ATC's with the beautiful women in mind that I met on an Art Retreat in London last year with the one and only JANE {Danger} DAVENPORT. We all have a passion for art and above all painting faces.

I am so blessed to know these women and I feel the urge to create in a new surrounding again with likewise woman.

Stepping forward

Art Journaling and art altogether fulfill me. Nonetheless, it was a giant step for me to come out and show my creativity. My husband supports me in all I do and he's the one that keeps nudging me out, telling me to step forward. That's actually the reason why I've started blogging.
The past months have shown me that my creativity "has an audience". Both "web" & "real" friends, and of course fellow bloggers have helped me with words of enthusiasm and encouragement.
I'm going through a process that I've never thought possible. Shedding off the old & negative. Now  surrounding myself with positive, creative and inspirational souls. I don't tend to need negativity. But then who actually does?

For an art journaler it's o.k. to not show their work. It's is a very private thing. But I also love to paint. I paint not only on paper, but of course on canvas and on wood (yes even driftwood!).
I feel that it's time to come forward with my art.
So that's why I'm stepping out. And I'm so happy to tell you that I'm one of 33 artists who will show their creations at a joint art exhibition. The preparations are in full swing.

I'm so thankful that you are walking with me on this wonderful & magical journey. Thank you!

Hugs,
